Message: i might have a pic after this weekend.
what size rims are you going to run? i have a 4/6 drop on mine, and with my 17's and a 245/45/17 tire i only scraped over good size speed bumps and steep drive ways. i wanted to go down another inch intill i got my 20s. now i dont scrape over anything.
it all depends on the wheel/tire combo you are going to run...let me know and ill tell you if you are going to have a problem or not

Message: Thanks guys, Eric I was originally going to go with the 3/5 in drop but now I am considering the 4/6 in drop, keep me posted on your pics. As far as rims go the ones I want come in either 17x8 or 18x8.5. Will I rub with either of these combintions? By the way where are you from?

Message: with a 4/6 you will not rubb with 17's or 18's if you get the right tires. a 245/45/17 and a 255/40/18 will work. if you get a 40 series 17 you might be able to do a 5/7 drop. the frame will take a lot of abuse though.
if you are interested i still have my "old" 17's for sale with tires.
im from southern california. where are you?

Message: A 5/7" drop? I didn't know they made one. Eric, what type of rims are they? Do you have a picture of them? I am from north east florida. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you know anybody else that is trying to get rid of rims.

Message: no one has a kit for a 5/7 drop but you can do it. in the front 2" a-arms, and 3" coil. in the rear, 2" shackle 3" hanger 2" block and c-notch. your frame will take a lot of abuse.
the rims are 17X8 budnick trilogy II's with BFG comp T/A's.

Message: Hey man thanks for the picture you have a real nice truck. I think I am going to go with the 4/6" now that looks sweet. Now if I could only find some 18s cheep I would be set=). Did you install the drop kit yourself?

Message: no i had Master Image Custom's do the drop. i wanted to do it myself, but inorder to drop the rear 6" you have to c-notch the frame and i dont have a plazma cutter or welder, so i couldent do it. i'm glad i didnt do it because they told me the ball joints were a b*tch to get out of the stock A-arm (the lower A-arms dont come with the ball joints).
