Thats kewl,i like the seats,and shifter,and painted dash i want to paint mine but don't know what paint to use,do you know anyone that has a 2001 that has the dash painted so i could see what it looks like?Anyways good job

Good job with the interior Intense. Looks nice. And btw, do the knobs just pull off??.. i tried to pull mine off when i painted my dash but didnt pull to hard b/c i was afraid of breaking something.

Its good seeing something different in an interior... mine is all carbon fiber... I need some new pedals mine have had it and I need something that fits nicely... Hey everyone post your interiors... I will in a bit... going take pics and stuff. Intense how about an update on the turbo.

How about a pic of those gauge pods, and the seats. Are they any more comfortable then the stock seats... I would like to mod a set of pods and add a set of speakers in them. Maybe like a tweeter, or a 3 1/2 for a higher front stage. For me I need a digital voltage gauge. I was thinking about add a rain sensor(you know gotta have luxuries too)

Reker,
you have to point the knobs straight up and pull them out. When i painted the knobs i got an exacto knife and cut off the paint where they light up so you can still see the light when the lights are on.
thanx for all the compliments guys... the turbo is doing great... just looking for an intercooler for it.

Hey, looks nice with the interior painted like that. I have the same truck (98 rc 3.9l, intense blue 4x2) but without all the engine stuff you have done. Mine is a 5 speed. check out my website if you want. http://www.cardomain.com/id/dakotadude17
One little picky thing, on the gauge pods are those screws holding it on there?? if they are you should paint those blue too.

to mount it all i had to do was drill four holes and screw it in with screws.... connecting the linkage is the fun part.

i tried to use 3M tape on it but it wouldnt hold. The person who had it before already had the holes in it... so i just got some shiney screws that would hold it well enough.

I think you did an awesome job. I'm not too crazy about the glove box handle and the ashtray, but the rest looks great. I think that'll be my next project, if I can find the time.
Just to follow up to some of the bad comments, you all have to give Intense credit for putting in the time and effort into making the truck the way HE wants it, and making it UNIQUE, not like every other vehicle out there!
Once again, very nice!

where have you been? i ruined it a long time ago!! ;-)
thanx for the support Canadakota, but i dont mind the negotive comments.... just lets me know how many boring stock dakotas are out there... i only painted the glove box handle and ash tray to try to get some blue to the other side of the interior. next i am gonna build a roll bar and paint it intense... then i should be done with the interior. My hope is to get my truck done by the next texas heat wave and try to show some dakota support.
