Subject: painted mud flaps IP: Logged
Message: I've got a silver quad cab with flares and just installed mopar mudguards. I had them painted to match and just installed them. Looks real good and very easy to install, didn't even need to remove the wheels. I used a small artist brush and painted the rams head logos red. Looks sharp.

Message: your talkin about painting a flexible mud flap that is under constant blasting of road debris, why not paint stripes on your tyres while your at it. HNY!

Message: O.K. , now I understand...so I guess every plastic flexible bumpers should all do the same?!
If its done correctly they can hold up good. Remember , you are only suppose to paint the backside of them , not the whole mudflap , therefore the painted areas are protected from all of the "road debris".
