Subject: Center Console CD Changer Mount IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1997 Reg. Cab Dakota and I am looking to relocate my CD Changer from behind my drivers seat to inside my center console.
Has anyone done this? I know that Chrysler has a mount for this, has anyone used it? Pictures would be helpful. Anyone else mount it into the console with aftermarket parts? Pics of this would be good too.
Thanks.

Message: i put a 6 disk alpine in my console when i had my stock headunit. when i did my system, i ditched the alpine and got a 12 disk pioneer and put it in the console also. its the perfect spot for it.

Message: I also mounted my little 6 disc clarion changer in there...
i just used my dremel and made one hole for bus cable to run through, and ran the wiring under the center console. Very simple and took me less than an hour to do. I am next looking to mount me CeNet adaptor for my Archos MP3 player. I will have the the changer, and the mp3 player installed in the console running through the pro-audio head unit...
