Message: I had the eurolite "xenon fusion"; very bright white, maybe a liiiittle blue. I loved em but one low beam just blew, so i should be getting some "Plasmaglow" ones anyday now. I hope these are good. Oh, and the eurolites i got for $15, these new ones for $20 on Ebay. There's a CRAPLOAD of lights on ebay for real cheap!
Hope this helps

Awesome,
I only hang out in the off topic forum area myself, I think it's a little too ram oriented, but because of people like me I think it's that way LOL. But it's a great site with a bunch of good people there. From what I have seen, there is never the garbage you see here, I think it's because you have to register (just an e-mail, no $30). But yea man check it out
dodgetrucks.org
btw... I just did an article for the DTO magazine, took me a little bit of time but I think I did an alright job.

Message: I bought some fairly cheap off of ebay about 8 months ago and they have worked great. I can't remember what brand they were but I have been really happy with them. I also replaced my corner and parking bulbs with this style bulb after I got clear corners. Got them off ebay as well.

Message: Cool link,
Unfortunately the prices are WAY too high, and they don't make them to fit our fog lights.
Here's the list if anybody's interested.
"Copy & pasted from dakota-durango.com"
1997-2002 models use the 9007 bulb for the headlights.
1997-2000 models use the 893 series bulbs for the fog lights.
2001-2002 models use the 898, 894, or 891 bulbs for the fog lights.
1997-2002 models use the 194 bulb for the parking lights.
1997-2002 models use the 3157 bulb for the turn signal lights.

Message: OK... i FINALLY got the plasmaglow bulbs in a couple days ago. They're pretty nice. Really, I can't tell much difference between these and the eurolites i had. They both look alot nicer than stock, and with pretty much the same whiteness with a LITTLE blue. If i put the two types side-by-side i MIGHT be able to tell a difference, but They're both really nice. I can try to get some pics if u want me to email them to you.

Message: If you think that those nokyas are hid bulbs your dead wrong. If they dont have a ballast to hook up they are not hids and they advertised heat range is false. A halogen cannot get that hot nomatter what gas you put in it. 12V is not enough to do that. For cheap HIDS go to www.vvme.com . Ive done a few retro fits, and even without projectors they will make driving a whole new (brighter) time. To disable your DRLS just relay the headlights. I would suggest somewere in the 4300-6000 range, as the best driving light is aquired from this ACTUAL heat range. And it seems they over time break down the gas enough to lower the heat range 5-600k, as i found mine got brighter but less blue over time (not in a dak) As for the highbeams, dont worry about them. The lowbeam HID is way brighter than any other halogen highbeam out there. The dual beam kits seem to be troublesome and i would avoid them. Ill be installing a 6000k kit in my 92 dak, along with a set of fogs and driving lights one with 4300k bulbs and one with 3000k bulbs.

Message: Just a heads up ... Unless the HID kits and the replacement bulbs have DOT/SAE approval/certification they are ILLEGAL for use on street driven vehicles. Some cops might ignore the lights when they seem them because they dont really care .... but blind a cop and piss him off .. then your screwed
