Subject: I want a canvas tonneu cover... IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know where I can purchase a canvas black tonneu (or however it is spelled?) Mopar makes one for the Ram, but not the Dakota, any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Message: I dont know if you wanted one specifically from mopar, but if not Pep Boys has one. I actually have this one on mine. Its a low profile rail system. No drilling or snaps to mess with, I love mine and it was only like $179 at the store. Here it is on the web if you want to check it out. Works on 87-00 daks with short bed.
Soft Tonneau Short Bed
It shows $188 for long bed.

Message: Ian, If you are actually looking for a canvas tonneau instead of vinyl, most boat canvas repair/replacement shops can do it for ya but it costs much more than vinyl. It shouldnt run u any more than $350 for the custom made tonneau with them providing the custom cut rails. If you bring your own rails, no more than $250. These are the average prices I found locally here in NY while shopping for a place to custom fit my vinyl tonneau around my rollbars. Personally, I like the look of Canvas, but it doesn't hold up nearly as well as vinyl and costs more to boot. Without constant chemical treatment to prolong its life(vinyl does require some care), canvas fades out if you park in the sun alot even though most are UV resistant and is hard to keep clean.
