Hey, i just bought an Eurostyle Antenna from a reputable ebay seller for $15.00 bucks so i was wondering if anybody else had this. I thought this would be a cheap upgrade plus the paint on my antenna was coming off. So what yall think, think i did good buy? NO flames plze...

Are those the short rubber ones? I've heard that the reception isnt very good. It might depend on the manufacturer as well. I don't really like the idea of having an exposed antenna, but there aren't many cheap alternatives to get around it. I've decided to avoid putting anything on my truck related to being "euro" as I think "euro" is a foreign word for "ugly." =) I don't want my American truck to be "euro". =) Personal preference... Anyway, if that euro unit doesn't work out for you, maybe try one of those nice billet antennas? Might cost a little more, but they should perform better as well as spice up the appearance.

I have the Billet Euro Antenna (shortest one). It's nice. Some of the local stations are harder to pick up, but I expected that.
I also bought one of the Euro Antennas (rubber one). Worked about the same, but the Billet has the style.
Let me know if you want pics. I can take some for you guys.
By the way ... I bought a bunch of antennas before I settled on the Billet Stubby. I have like 2 or 3 more Billet (chrome) ones kicking around.

I was told today by my local wheel shop that the AR Maxims are discontinued for a Dakota/Durango in 20". Has any one else heard that? Does anyone know if they can still be purchased and where?
