They should be even, remove and reposition arm, or better yet bring it to the dealer

Has anyone changed their wipers so that they only have one that covers the whole glass. It seems like it could be done because the stem of the right wiper blade is right in the middle of the truck. My dads old mercedes had it that way, and just used one and it worked well. Not like the crap ones where people just position it different and it barely wipes the whole window. Do you think it would be possible to do a setup like the mercedes on a dak?

Their are small black guidelines near the bottom of the windshield in the shadow mask area that are used to align the wipers when you remove and reinstall the wiper arms.

Hi EJB, I bought a 2002 leftover also and I notised the same thing. It doesnt bother me much. But what did bother me was the noisy wiper blades. I took my truck back after a couple days of driving and they replaced the inserts with no questions asked.

If your truck sat on the dealer's lot for a few months, the blades get no use and become formed in one direction. My buddy had the same problem with his pathfinder but he fixed it by reverse swithcing them. hope this helps somebody, AL
