Hello
I was wondering if any one has a grill insert on there truck. if you do, how do you open the hood.
did you have to do some kind of mods to it.

mine came with a rod and you cut the hood latch and drill a hole in it and it is barely sticking out of grill but i just cut the latch and i push it open with a lat head screwdriver.

Yeah.. I found that using bicycle brake cable is the easiest method of accomplishing this.
I even put a automatic hood pop on mine... pretty neat stuff I might say. :D

ive made custome grille inserts from a sheet of expanded metal..holes r big enough to still reach the latch
