Ok. So Im going to get a Reflexxion steel hood and went to a collision center to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get painted. It turns out to be almost $500. Does this price soung about right to you guys. I going to get more estimates when I get more time (I work 2 jobs... thanks to my truck).

$500 just to paint the hood? Find another shop.
I had my hood, bumper cover, roll pan, and tonneau mounted and painted for $700.

That is way steep, even if they do the underside too. I would know, I am getting my Reflexxion cowl painted soon.

I had two Reflexxion hoods (one has slight hail damage so I got hooked up w/another one real cheap) - for $200.
Pretty sweet.

when I put a reflexxion hood on my 95 ram I got a local shop to paint the new hood and install it for $300 and my stock hood. I didn't want it setting around anyway so I thought it was a good deal. when I had the shaker hood done I paid $400 and they did all the work also, then I sold my stock hood to a local shop for $ 75-- they aren't that expensive brand new so that was the best offer I got for it.

mtx thunderforms-are lid-z-liner sprayed in bed
