For all you guys out there with a roll pan on your dak, what did you do for the spare tire. Did you drill a hole in the roll pan so you can still access the spare tire or did you just say the hell with it and covered it up?

Mine also had the hole for the spare tire crank. I had to move mine to the bed because I added a hidden hitch behind the license plate.

So let me get this straight. First of all is 3/5 too low to access it? and for the roll pan it wont work with any hitch? right now i have a regular hitch and next spring im gonna get a roll pan. Im hopin my buddy can fab it to make it work tho. Arnt there hitches available that you can use with a rollpan and keep your tire under the bed?

thanks?

I have a hidden hitch. The receiver sits behind a fold down license plate bracket. With the hidden hitch you cannot mount the spare under the truck.

If you have a hitch now with the spare tire under the truck, then switching the rear bumper for a roll pan will have no effect.
