Message: Those are actually from the dealer, made for the Ram. Quality pieces that look so much better than stickers. The more I look at pics of her truck, fuel door is coming off, sticks out like a sore thumb. They really only look good on light colored vehicles or Black IMO. I think I'll have it sprayed to match the truck when my buddy paints the black caps on bumpers to match truck.

Message: Great looking truck, have to agree with you on the fuel door, my dak is silver and have been debating on the door, also thought about painting the bumper cap but was concerned with durability if stepped on.

Message: My 01 is Silver and the fuel door looks great IMO, blends in well. The black paint on rear bumper scratches easier than factory paint to begin with and the front bumper should be fine if flexible primer is used first to allow flex from stepping or kneeling on it.

Message: Nood1z, I'll be keeping the fuel door and spraying or powdercoating it to match truck, thanks though.
Thanks n8 dawg, can't a chick have a nice truck? LOL. Yeah it's hers, can barely pry her out of it since we bought it 3 months ago so I can drive it and have some fun:) The meaty 33's on my truck make it a little harder to spin(unless roads are wet) and I sure like being able to leave two black patches when I take off. Should be even more fun when I install the HO cams/intake next week and add the 70mm TB and performance-flashed computer by this spring.

Message: 2T I have a question, notice in the picture that the truck has fender flares and rear flaps with a silver logo, does your wife have a problem when going up steep driveways or high speed bumps with the flaps dragging on the ground, because I do, except the mud flaps I have do not have the silver logo they are just plain black, wondering if your flaps are different from mine.

Message: No problems with that so far, I imagine on a 2WD you may have that problem as they are long flaps. I bought them at the dealer, I think they had only two kinds, the molded which I like the look of and had on my last Dak but take the paint off from the flares, and the kind I put on my wives Dak which are flat. They do rub occasionally when the tire is turned while hitting a large dip or bump at slow speeds.
The flat ones are essentially "adjustable" and you should be able to move them up higher in the back by drilling new holes while keeping the old holes covered up by flap so you couldn't tell. That should take care of the draggin issue.
