i have a 99 white xlt. i recently was in a little fenderbender and i need a new lower valance. Should i get the grey one that was on the xlt or should i get the sport, which is white. How do you think it would look if it were white, remember i have a chrome bumper and grill. Thanks

i have a patriot blue dakota slt and i had a wreak in my truck and i went with the sports front valance but didn't paint it i left it that dark gray color but it looks good though

I hated my grey slt valance.I think it looks way cleaner color matched>

I painted both the front valance and the plastic parts on the rear to match. It made a big difference in my opnion. Go for it.

Thanks for the input guys. now, since i am getting this fixed at the dealer and the insurance is paying for it does this mean i will only beable to get the OEM white one from Dodge or could they order an aftermarket one instead. I also had a home brewe grill insert on the valance i wonder if they could get the street scene one. Maybe i should try to get every thing out of this as i can. What do i have to do to make this all fly.

How does the painted valance hold up to chips/dings etc? I also think the stock grey one sucks and wwas thinking about painting it.
