I bought the new Alpine the day it was came out, and it passes all tests with flying colors. 60x4w, 3 4V preouts, complete built in crossover. It is amazing, i bought Polk Audio 6 1/2 all the way around and won a award for clarity at a local show.

I got the CDA-7875, i have a 1998 Dak, it has a standard DIN, but i had a custom kit installed to mount it. it looks good. The sound quality that comes from the Alpine is unreal. It is even XM ready, that's the new satelite radio stations they are coming out with.

nah, get the kenwood mp3 radio like I have. Nothing better than putting in a cd that cost ~50 cents and holds upto 253 songs =]

Or get the Alpine 7878 when it is available. Reads mp3s from a CD, plus you get the Alpine quality and XM compatibility.

I got it from Circuit City, and about Kenwood I've had them and that don't have the greatest sound quality. But different strokes for different folks.
