Subject: Window Tint IP: Logged
Message: Can someone please let me know what color(grey/smoke) and % of tint is factory on a 2000 QC. I've heard some people say 20% and others 35%. Any definite answers are greatly appreciated.

Message: This isn't really definite, but I put 20% smoke
tint on the front windows of my '02 Quad and
it's lighter than the factory tint. The factory tint
is also more bronze in my opinion. The only
time you can really tell is winter or when the
truck's in front of a white building. You can
check it at:
http://photos.yahoo.com/lemmskota
Just click on "My Photos" and then "'02 Quad"
Hope this helps,
Lemmers

Message: I put 20% on my front windows and left the back door windows stock, and put 5% over the factory on the rear. The side windows match perfectly.

Message: Hey Nitro Junkie, do you ever get pulled over for that dark of tint on your sides?? it looks sweet like that. Also, what series are the tires you have on your rims right now. im going to be dropping my dak with hotchkis as well, and that looks like the best height with that series tires. Have you had any rubbing problems with those series at all either??

Message: Go to any inspection station. They should probably be able to tell you without going through the whole inspection deal. That would tell you percentage anyways, don't know about the color. Might be able to go to any shop that specializes in tints, and they could tell you. Come to think of it, they may able to tell you both.
