Hi,
I just picked up my new '01 QC 4x4/4.7/
45RFE/3.92LSD/T&H/Towing last Tuesday.
I've noticed that there's potential for scratches
on the front door sills when getting in and out.
Are there any good door sill plates available
out there? Out of aluminum or diamond plate
or something like that?
I want to address this before I end up
scratching the $hit out of the door sills!

Dodge makes a nice set for the quad cab. I got my 4 installed for $40.00 at the dealer. They are plastic with the ram logo and are stuck on with double sided tape. They seem secure and go a nice job protection the sills!

Ventshade also sells some plastic door sill plates... if you don't want to spend "big money" on them.

I installed a set from ventshade today and they match like they came on the truck from the factory. No holes only 2 side tape took about 10 min to install all 4.
Might be the best $15.00 I have spent in a while.
here is the part # for anyone who wants some 88249 anyone who sells ventshade should have them they also fit the durango.

Ventshade now has them in Gray and Tan not only Black.If you go to there website you can check them out.

I just bought a set from my local Chrysler
dealer. They were only $30 CDN (about $20
US), for the set of 4. They fit really well, plus
they have a cool Ram logo embossed in the
centre.
