I would also love to know about the cost to paint a hood.....
I am also wondering what it costs to have a roll pan painted. Steel or fiberglass, or what ever they come in.
Any experience out there with this?

Cost me $650 to paint my hood. But there was some airbrushing involved.
Body shop charged me $95 to paint just my visor. Wouldn't think it would be much more than that to paint a rollpan.

just go down to your local body shop, tell them what you want and ask them how much. If they want you business they will tell you . If they don't they won't. Also when you take bids for the job take a look at anything they have finished that the owner has not yet picked up to see the quality of their work, it may be worth your while.
