Message:
I am 16 and don't have a huge cash flow coming in and i want to put my 97 dakota on 18's and was woundering if there is a difference in chrome rims. Like between arelli or american racing chrome rims. Will the shine be better on the arelli's b/c the american's are a lot cheaper. But i don't want the chrome to wear off or dull so tell me about if it if u know anything. thanks

easier up keep. polished rims begin to soil and take special cleaning to make look good. Chrome stay clean better and are easier to polish up. At least from my expierence.

Chrome just wipe clean no matter how dirty they are. Chrome don't scratch like polished or clearcoated rims do. Chrome are almost indestructable. It doesn't matter where you get your wheels from . . . chrome is chrome . . . the difference in price is going to be from how well the wheel is made. Like EVO's for example are very expensive because they are very strong and are designed for people who still want to use their truck for towing and such. Money equals Quality but Chrome is Chrome.

Not quite sure what your saying man. But polished wheels are not chromed. I assume you know that from your post. But you do get what you pay for. I have Am. Racing polished Nitros. Nice 1 piece wheels, but hard as hell to clean. Wish I waited to get chromed. Later.
