take your front seats out and install it under the drivers seat. as the passenger seat is always moving for passengers and the drivers doesn't it's a safer bet... that's where i installed my mtx 4240. NO overheating probs and not a glitch... just get someone to help you with the seats... they're heavy and akward

I dont suggest mounting the amp under the seat. Think, there is going to be alot of dirt, mud and whatever else on your shoes..that will end up on the amp...the only good way to do it is to make a plexi-glass case for the amp(build in a fan so there is absolutely no possibility of overheating) and then mount it under the seat...this way it is protected from whatever may come in contact with

but wouldnt there be a hole for the incoming air? would the dirt and mud just be sucked in anyway ?
