Subject: Grille-Tech IP: Logged
Message: I would like to share with yall about the grille i ordered more than 2 WEEKS AGO from Grille-Tech. I understand they are on backorder and apparently they are even more on backorder since they told me it would be even ANOTHER week or two. Earlier they said it could ship last friday and now this. I really want this grille from Grille-Tech but i am very tired of waiting and who knows if i'll even wait more. They say i can get a full refund but i really want THIS grille, the silver one. Man, this sucks....

Message: Still waiting on mine since the middle of July. I paid $79 for mine and since I e-mailed asking for a tracking number 2 weeks after my order was placed is when they found out it was on back order and gave me 2 options (1) get a full refund, or (2) keep my order which I was told at least another 30 days and I'll get a $20 refund check. Obviously for $59 shipped to the door for all 5 pieces, I can wait, it should be here soon

Message: Jeezus, i wish i knew all this before i ordered it....i dunno what to do, i really need a grille for my dak. Either refund it and find another grille, or wait...which i am not good at.

Message: Your telling me....i actually thought this was a good company...in a way, it is but their backorder is horrible....they need to fix that. I emailed her about what is causing the delay so i'm waiting for the reply and i will keep you all updated...

I have record of replying to your e-mails almost on a daily basis. I will again reiterate that I cannot give you an exact date it will be shipped. I wish I could, but it is simply out of my hands. There are often times that retail establishments have items on backorder unfortunately. It's pretty much an instance of supply and demand, so to speak. We understand your frustrations and wish we can give you more information. It has been tough on us, too in trying to have two local establishments produce these items. A few weeks ago, we did receive a batch of grille inserts in from our manufacturer; however, we felt it was necessary to return them and have them reproduced due to the defect we discovered in powdercoating. We maintain a very strong sense of quality in our product and rather than send customers a product that is slightly defective, we felt the need to assure that what you receive is a top-quality, 100% correct product.
We have thousands of grille inserts being powdercoated as we speak. As stated in previous e-mails, we have two manufacturers who locally produce the grilles. One is a laser-cutter, and the other is a powdercoater. When the company finishes, we expect to promptly ship all backordered items.
I don't mean to be short, but we have several customers who are in the same situation as you are. Some have opted for refunds; others have continued to wait. You have a choice and we will accommodate you either way. However, I cannot keep addressing your same questions on a daily basis. You can contact me in another week and I will be more than happy to provide you with an update. But, we service many customers and understandably we are quite busy at the present time.
Again ... we will be more than happy to refund your money should you so desire.

Message: I need a grill to, I have over 19,200 miles on my truck and It's only 9 months old as of tomorrow. With all my freeway driving, I have so many bugs in my radiator, a/c condenser and the trans cooler. Just be patient, your not the only one that has to wait. before you get pissy, put yourself in their shoes, there really isn't anything they can do. Like you, they're waiting for the grills to be finished at the other end. At least they're straight with you and telling you that they are on back order. If you can't wait, ask for a refund and pay $200 + for an SS or billet insert

Message: Nope, i'm waiting, they gave me another email saying that it would ship on the week of the 16th and plus i got a group buy on this for 79 dollars so i'm gonna keep this and wait a little more.
