Subject: Question about euros IP: Logged
Message: I would like to get some euro tails. Now my question is, my Dak is silver (not sure of the clever name; i.e Patriot Blue) but I was wondering what you would all think would look better, carbon fiber or Chrome euros? I am alittle partial to the Chrome ones but would like to hear suggestions. Anyone with a silver dak with euros? Any pics of a silver dak with euros? Thanks.
BTW - Going on 5 weeks with out my Dak, waiting on Chrysler to give my dealer new Rivets for my VIN to put on my new dash. makes me mad, cause all the body work from the accident has been fixed.

I'm not a fan of euros, but hey it's your truck. I would go with chrome, it looks cleaner. look at SinCityR/T's ride

Message: carbon fiber looks better on darker trucks. when i see them on white trucks i tend to shake my head. my dak is black and i chose the chrome b/c it wouldve taken 2 months to get the carbon fiber ones when i wanted them, their cheaper, and last anything looks good w/ a black truck, chrome or carbon fiber. so i would get the chrome if i were you

Message: i have a silver quadcab with thr carbon fiber euros on it and love the look. my truck is a sport, so there is no chrome color parts anywhere, just all black and the carbon fibers look sweet. they look like they "fit" i would say go with the carbons

Message: I think it's a mix of both the primary color of the truck, and the color of its accessories...
If your accessories (mirrors, badges/stickers, bumpers, trim, etc.) are black, stick with the carbon fibers... If your accessories are chrome/billet colored, go with the chrome euro tails.
For the most part, dark-colored trucks look better with darker accents, and light-colored trucks look better with the chrome, but nothing looks odd more than a truck with mixed accessories (which is why everything on my truck got replaced with chrome or billet).
I've got photos of a couple of different trucks with both chrome and cf euros on my website on the lights page.
