Any suggestions on a cheap, light cowl hood for a Gen2 would be greatly apreiciated.

I already know about KRC and AAR, both too expensive.

I dont really care how good it looks I just want it cheap and light.

everybody carries one for a genII!!! just look around in the ads inside a mopar mag... i see them all the time.

Dude, are you high at the moment? (if you are thats fine but please share. lol)
I see everyone carring fiberglass hoods for Gen3's, not Gen2's.

I have done a little more research and it looks like Im going with a U.S. Body Source lift off hood. Weighs like 20 or 30 lbs!! thats what I'm lookin for, light weight.

yes i said there are more genII... just look around... i have only seen one company that makes a lift off for a gen III and several that make them for the gen II. there are only two other companies that bolt ons for the genIII... trust me i have LOOKED!

just spent all my money on R/T rims dam it all!!
oh well next paycheck

You wanna know what I dont understand though?
All these places keep listing 87-96, no way is an 87 gonna fit a 96!!! I have had both and they are way different in the front area.

yeah i think that www.up22.com is the only one that sells a fiberglass lift off hood for a genIII. it took me awhile to find it but i did! but i think it is $399 for my trucky. either way glad i could help.
