there's what i just got done with. 2 10" JL W3v2's in the center console. it looks like a stock transmission housing in a sports car. most people who have heard it and look in ask where the box is. just the way i wanted it!

Very nice install dr0p0ff!! What did you use for the install? Do you have some sort of materials list? I'm thinkin for my xcab to build a thunderform like box, under my rear seat. Again very nice install!!

pbxr.. alas, i paid someone to do the console because i lacked the knowledge to even do it and the experience to not screw it up. he used wood to create a frame for the speakers and the shell of the box, and he used fiberglass for the shell itself. the flush mounting of the amps was pretty simple. i cut off the factory carpet board on the back wall of the cab from where you see the color change on down. mounted the amps to the back wall of the cab, then made pieces of wood to cover up the cables and beautify the install.

Hey guys,
Here's the center console I built, there not really hard to do. But they do take time to measure and build. I made mine simple so it would match the inside as close to factory.
I sure would like to see what kind of console this guy built?? Nobody has or received pics??

The console is built out of 5/8" mdf, with 3" ABS plastic used for cupholders. And painted to match the interior.

MDF doesn't have woodgrain and I am assuming he used a router on the edges of the cup holder
