I have a set of white face guages with the 7000 RPM tach that I want to get rid of. They work perfectly its just that I don't like them any more. They are like the speedglo sets. They turn from blue to green and it has a dimmer switch too. My truck is a 2000 so I'm pretty sure it will work for most of the gen 3 daks. I'm asking $50 OBO.

well i also have a 2000. An R/T, but my RMP only goes to 6000. I think thats a problem right? Do you thyink it would work at all.. let me know

It probably is a problem but I don't know how big of one it would be. I mean as long as you don't rely on the tach for anything it should be alright. And you would have to remember that your truck only goes to 6000 instead of 7000. let me know.

1997-2000 Dakotas came with 6000rpm tachs
2001-2003 Dakotas came with 7000rpm tachs and have a different design.
The 2000's with 7000rpm tachs are in a class all by themselves... Only a few trucks at the end of the 2000 run got the 7000rpm's.

I actually got my 2000 4.7L in October of 1999, so there were some with the 7K tachs early on.

I have a 2000 4.7L Dodge Dakota and it has a 7000/rpm tach and so would the 2001-2003 fit because they are the only ones with 7/rpm and 1999-2000 have 6/rpm?Thank You

No, Daimler-Chrysler changed the dash and interior for 2001, so the 1997-2000's are not compatible with 2001-2003's and vice versa.
