Just for fun, I removed the cloth and recovered the upper arm rest in black vinyl. It was very easy to do and took no special tools ...or skill. The picks are the rear doors. The fronts are getting a silver DAKOTA embroidered on them.

You need to make your photos visible to other users. It shows up as an empty album otherwise.

It's a metallic silver SLT 4X4 quad cab with slate/black interior. I was really surprised at how easy it was. I was going to do it in leather, but I couldn't find a grain pattern that I liked.

That's sweet man, see I wanted to do that with my 2000 QC, but the original fabric on the doors is hot rivited onto the panel and I can't think of a good way (or a way at all, for that matter) to replace the fabric with the hot rivets holding it on. Any suggestions???

I just cut the top of the rivet off with a razor blade. After you do that you are left with a nice little hollow plastic stem. From there, you can either tap the stem for a 1/4" bolt or just use self tapping screws. Just use a plastic washer so that the panel does not just fall out of the door panel.
