Hi all,

I know this has probably been posted before, but I was having a hellova time finding the info I wanted.

I'm looking at getting some 18 inch rims...with some 255/45-18 Nittos ...will these bad boys fit in the stock wheel wells without rubbing in corners? How much will this effect my speedo? I also was thinking of doing a 2/4 or 3/5 drop....how will the effect wheel spacing?

Any info would be awesome...thanks in advance.

Sure they will fit their a lot smaller than stock. My stock tires 255/65-16 were 29" dia. the 255/45-18 are only 27"

I have the 255/45/18 with a 2/3 drop.No rubbing now but if I did a 3 or 4 in drop in front I think I would a 245 tire to avoid all rubbing issues with out trimming the fender!

Ok, thanks guys.

I think I'll keep the drop to 2/4 and maybe do some air bags in the back so I can still pull a trailer without dragging the back end.

I was looking at the Enkei RT6, or even some Intro wheels...haven't decided yet...

Make sure when you buy your wheels that the offset is the same, if there wider go with a little more offset than your stock wheels, a little more positive offset will pull the wheels closer in and away from the fenders.
