I have been talking to LoTek about making an A Pillar guage pod for the 2001 Dak. They will consider this project if I come up with 20 (minimum) people for either 2 or 3 guage pods. Pod will have 2 1/16 in. cutouts and can be done in OEM color. Estimated price: $40 - $60 each plus $5.99 shipping (US). They estimate approx 9 weeks to ship after agreeing to the deal. They will mold their pod from an OEM A pillar which somebody needs to provide to them.
Though I'm not committed yet to doing this deal...let me know if you would be interested ? After and if I get it all figured out, I will contact everyone. Payment will have to be up front.

Lo tek allready has a pod to fit 2001 dakotas,I sent them an email awhile back and the said it fits up to 2002 dakotas

That's strange. They advised me last week that it only fit to the 2000 model year! I wonder what's real? Does anybody have a LoTek pod in a 2001 or 2002 DAK???

No need for a group buy from LoTek. I found 2 and 3 guage pods today for 2001 - 02 DAKs at www.propods.com. No idea as to price.
Hope this helps anyone with interest in getting one.
