i got a power window kit for 2 windows...cost 389-400. the switches are a bit hard to press and if u keep rolling up the mechanism self shuts off so u don't break ur window :-\. i thought it was broken and i was at a drive thru.....but i got it to go down to pay the nice lady. i would like to get new switches and also install tweeters in the crank position. does anyone know if this is possible? i looked at the crank and there's a metal thing there that rotates when i move the window up and down. figures....but can i cut it?

i've seen it done several times before (a tweeter put in the hole where the crank goes) but i dont know if they had switched from manual, or that it had always been power windows... but it can definitely be done and looks perfect! peace

if you use the bezel and factory switches with the power window kit from A1 for your complete crank replacement it makes it easy because the factory bezel will cover the hole from the manuel crank. it will look factory it is awsome.

I don't know what kind of kit you guys bought, but I got the one from SPAL. I don't know how you would be able to put a tweeter in the hole, the kit uses the regulator (the shaft that the handle pushes on). And it's gonna stick out of the door panel. There is a cover that hides it, but it still sticks out. Take a look at mine.
