hi
i just bought some foglights and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can hook up the trigger wire? i need a wire that only has power when the key is in. the only wire that i know of is the one that goes to my headunit. is there another option that is easier or better? oh yea, i have a 2000 v6 cc. thanks alot!

you can tap into the parking lights to run a relay, that way they will just go on and off with your lights

Yep Ben is correct, I bought those blue wiper things, I know it screams rice, but I connected the lights to the parking lights. Just take a tester with the lights in the OFF position to find your constant. Now once you find the constant, which will light your tester in the off positon, switch your lights on, find the once dead wire which now light your tester, this is your switch. I cant remember to be sure, so dont quote me, but I think it is the grey/black wire. Test it to be sure. Unless you use a splice connector, which does not require you to strip your wires, it does not hurt to put a dab of vaseline or some king of petrolium product on your splice to prevent corrosion.

I wanted my Pilot Fog Lights to be independent of the head / parking lights. I tapped the trigger wire into the wire running to the POWER PORT under the dash. That only has power when key is on.
