Message: I got the idea to do it myself from this site:
http://www.chimptopia.com/pimptopia/articles.
html
He has a detailed description of doing the
grill.
For the lower grill, I used pipe hangers and cut
off the loop on the end. The strap section is
just long enough to attach the grill to, and
make a couple bends for it to attach to the
bumper.
If you open your hood, and look down behind
your bumper, there are 4 sets of torx bolts(one
on top of the other). I just attached the
strapping to the two outer, lower bolts. They
were actually pretty easy to get out, just a little
squirt of WD-40 and presto. I used a #25 torx
bit, and clamped it in a vise grip, make sure
it's tight, and you give some pressure into the
bolt.
I can try and get a picture down in there if you
want?

I have pictures up on my web site to give you an I idea on how to do it. Its under the Tips and Tricks section.

The bolts that attach the bumper to the truck are kinda tuff to get off @ first but after spray alittle WD-40 in there and it won't be so bad next time you do something.

Message: I've only had it on about a week, but haven't
seen any rusting. I primed both sides, and
chrome painted the front.
I tried a clear coat on one of my practice
pieces and it did dull the finish. Then I read
the can it it said that it would dull the finish. So
no clear coat.
