Subject: Fog Lights HELP

I recently bought some pilot fog lights and i am having trouble mounting them and i know i am gonna have trouble putting the switch in the dash. This i my first magor truck installation prodject. What did you mount your fog lights to and are there any good books out there that could help me with taking apart the dash or should i get some who knows about the stuff to do it. If you got pics of em let me see cause it might help me. Thanks!

I got Pilot Fog lights for my Dak, and install wasn't so bad. I cut out the holes in the air dam using a sharp utility knife (slowly and carefully.) I got a set that was not specifically meant for a Dak, so the mounting brackets were a bit of a pain. What I did was make a small hole under where the light will sit in the air damn, and situated the bracket in such a way that I could bolt that on to the hole. Then I put the ligh onto the bracket. I don't know if you got a kit for a Dak, so you may not have to do this. As for wiring I ran "trigger" or relay wire into the cab thru a hole on the passenger side firewall (over wheel well). I have a custom switch I got from radioshack and mounted it to next to the headlight switch cause I didn't like the one that came with the kit. But you can run wire right next to steering column an stick switch next to headlight switch without even pulling Dash off.
