i was wondering if anyone has the all clear tail lights? have you run into any trouble with the police? i live in florida and got something off the internet from the florida statute saying that they are street legal if they are visible from 1,000 feet from the rear. is this applicable as long as they have red bulbs in them. i think they would look really good.

I live in ca and here the clears are VERRY illegal. even with red bulbs. i think they are illegal in all states because they are not DOT aproved. the only ones that are DOT aproved, are the euro's, and only from APC.

i live in florida also, and have seen daks along with tons of other cars with clears on them. I am pretty sure they are illegal but are a secondary offense, which means they have to pull you over for something else first.
