Message: I have my 2k QC done, I will look at it when I get home from work, and post it. I think it was pretty easy, just one wire... C~

Message: OK, first you gotta pop off your plastic dash over your speedometer and stuff...
Then you gotta remove your lightswitch
There should be a big clusterf(_)ck of wires going into one place.
Looking at it (as soon as you remove it) you should see a black plug that all the wires are going into, and on the side of the black plug there is a red tab.
You don't HAVE to remove the plug, if you don't wanna. It's up to you
look at the top row of wires that are going into the plug, closest to you, with the red tab to your left
there should be two black wires with a yellow line
the one on the left, closest to the red tab is the one you want.
ground your light somewhere, anywhere... and use the power from that black wire closest to the red tab on the top row
(I'm not sure if the different daks with different setups for dashes make the wiring different or the switches themselves... but like I said I have a 2k QC. The light switch is on the left of the sterin wheely, not the middle)
hope that helped,C~

Message: better be careful and not blow the switch or a fuse. make sure your wiring has in line fuse and it might be a good idea to put one in before the split just in case.
