Message: I just picked up some daytona seats for my 93CC. Not sure what year. They are prety dirty but the look in pretty good shape. Only prob is that they are dark gray and I have the dard red interior. Oh well, just am excuse to get them recovered. Hopefully i'll get to put em in today or tomorrow.

Message: Install was soo easy. Just took the rails off the dak seats put em on the daytona seats, and put em back in. That was it. I'll get some pics soon.

Message: So would it be possible to unhook the center section from the drivers seat without hurting the seat? Id love to have a center console but my slip seats are in excellent condition. What do you think? Is a 40% removed 20% then another 40% seat possible? Thanks

Message: no i don't thick so. you would have to cut through the fabric and cut it right out. unless you were going to have it redone or had seat covers. my seats are in great condition too but i'm gonna swap em out for buckets. also if your lucky you can sell you seats and that will pay or help pay for new ones.

Message: So the 60% part of the seat is one frame? I was hoping that maybe the 40% part had a simple extension bolted on for the 20% part. I was gonna remove it and wrap the excess fabric under the seat and tie it down some how. Thanks for the help. Later

Message: well i think its one frame but if you got some spare time take the seat out and have a look, i doubt it would be that simple but its worth a try. but either way its gonna need some good fabric work to make it look original like the other seat.
