 Subject: overhead computer readout, can I install

I have a 01 QC, with the overhead console, but didn't get the computer readout that clips on the front. I can purchase on now from a contact off the board.
There are wires in there cause it has two lights already. Can I add the comp. readout to the console, and Hook it up to the wiring harness?
I'm asking if anyone has done this, or know if it's possible?

I've read on this board that its a pain in the ass to do. You must add a new harness and hook everything up where it needs to go. Sounded like more trouble then it was worth. Suggestions made were to just get the rear veiw mirror that has all that stuff on it. Much easier to install.

What rear view mirror with the stuff on it?
My 01 has the DC rear view mirror, overhead console, no computer readout.
Any wires already there to hook into the PCM?

Todd I think he is talkin about an after market rear view mirror.
Besides do you really want the computer ?? I have one and I never use it. I turn it off most of the time. I would spend the money on the mods rather than the computer. Just my 2 cents
