Subject: Anyone who has MOPAR tonneau cover? IP: Logged
Message: Hi. I picked up a used Mopar tonneau cover for my 2K reg cab. It came with three bows for the bed. Two of them are worn out and keep falling off the rail. Can anyone tell me where I can get extra bows for the cover? I really would like to know who makes the cover for Dodge. I think I can get a better price on the parts through the manufacturer rather than getting charged too much at the dealer. Thanks

Message: Sorry, I have no idea who makes the cover for DC.
I have a factory Mopar soft tonneau and the bows are actually very sturdy -- They are held together by a slotted hex head screw in each center section of the bow. The crimped edges of the tubes are held on the outside (bed rail) by plastic compressors, each with another slotted hex head screw. They have retained their shape and I have almost no sag in the cover at all. I'm not sure if this is the way it came from DC, but it seems to work just fine.
