 Subject: LED question

If I were get some corners and put some amber LED's in them, would you still see amber or are they clear until they're lit up?
Also if I put LED's in the there how do I slow down the blinking, I heard that's a problem to.

LEDs are typically clear - the color is in the glow. Some LEDs have tinted lenses (or bodies), but I haven't seen the automotive types that way.
Get an electronic flasher unit; that should help with the frenetic flash.
