 Subject: Connecitcut Laws on Clear Corners?

Hey, I live in Connecticut, and just ordered a set of clear corners. Now, I dont know what bulbs they are coming with, if any, and I dont know and have spent the last 2 hours looking for laws about what colors bulbs to have, so if anyone knows, it would be appreciated alot! If I can go clear, I will, but if I cant, I would like to go LED.. or something that looks decent, but keeps is legal. I got cops following me all the time around these parts!

Hey Nicholas,
I live in Ledyard, and I have Diamond clears and for my bulbs they came with a pair of amber, but you will need to buy another set since there are 4 not 2. But, I replaced my directional with blue bulbs that flash white, and my parking light is like a baby blue. Now I heard they are illegal, but I have had them in for almost 2 months, and knock on wood, cops don't seem to care. I was even is traffic once passing a cop on street detail and as I went past him, he said "Hey look blue parking lights. Ain't that cool?" So if you ever get pulled over for differnt color bulbs then you should have, try to look shocked and be like "Officer I didn't know, I'll change them when I get home." A cop friend of mine said they have to have an alternitive reason to nail you for the lights, but I am rambling. E-mail me if you need anything else.

PS - The blue lights are illegal, and if a cop's bored enough they will ticket you. My girlfriend got a $75 ticket in my truck because my parking lights hadn't faded from blue to hyperwhite yet. We got the ticket thrown out after I swapped back to clear bulbs but it was a huge pain in the ass.

Clears are perfectly legal in CT. After living there for 2 years and working for the State Police... you are fine. White or Amber is fine. ANy other color in illegal.

gotta put a hold on the clear corners! lol, got laid off yesterday. Damn Japanese are taking over all the manufacturing, company is closing. So, I called up unemployment.. What a joke. 60% of my net pay.. Which comes out to be nothing! lol. So, I just went and applied for a job this morning, looks hopeful. So, hopefully something will pull through, and I will be able to keep my dak, and accessorise is accordingly. :) damn CT sucks!

Not that I know of. Basically, its a car club full of ricers and such, but theres a few nice trucks and my buddy got me in it. They just meet in front of AutoZone in groton every Saturday Night. Nothing special.

I asked about the 'bowl because we race there on Saturday nights. Too bad, or I'd stop by Autozone and check things out.

Hey Rocco, I threw them in, put had to modify the blub housing that was on the outside corners because they wernt molded right, adn I couldnt seat the O ring in there.. So I had to grab the dremel! So once I get them in, the one on the right side of the truck, was haning a little low towrards the grill, along with the condensation that was building up in that once peice. So, I emailed the guy i bought them from, and waiting for a responce on the reply. But they look sweet. I'm going to be ordering my SS grills this week or next as well.

Hey, i ordered them off Ebay.. Got them from some guy named Sprinter. I didnt wanna go spend the hundred something for the APC, until I knew what they were going to look like on my truck. The cheap ones look good though. I am thinking about re-doing my front end though. Custom job, so my lights might change. Gotta see though, I was at the dealer today and they had a nice Viper.. maybe ill trade the Dak! lol, I wish. Butta, 2004 New body styles come out, so I dont know how drastic I wanna get with this truck. Cowl Induction, tonneou, maybe a couple other small things. But, a whole new front of job would have to be something to seriously consider!

A new front end would be kewl. Did u ever see the light that are set in plastic. I saw them in my truckin mag(not sure of the website i would have to look it up and get back to u ). im not sure if they sell them or if they only come with the body kit. they look like the euro ones that u would put on a VW. but i want to get the clear corner...but i just to the spray in liner so im a little short for the truck fund. but thanks for gettin back to me.

Damn truck is gettin expensive! Im pulling that rubber peice next to the radiator, cleaning off my radiator, all the damn bugs.. Going to get some screen, like they use in screen houses, a very fine screen and doing come cutting here and there to go on the back side of the grill, so I dont get bugs all in there again. throwin in some 3923's, hopefully they will even out my unstable idle a bit. Gotta pull the rims to clean them.. rotate them while the trucks jacked up.. gotta get some solid lugs though.. going to attemp to clean my TB! That should be fun. Good Wash, Wax, clean the interior, maybe if I have time and feel ambitios I will pull out my bed liner and clean under there.. and maybe do the engine bay.. erg..
