I put in a pair of the neon windshield washer squiters on my 2001 sport and u need to hook the wire into the parking lamp wire. Does anyody have these on their truck and how did u get to the wire and which one is it??

I say leave them on, If that is what baller likes for his DAK. After all he is making the payments on it, That's his personality. Even if you don't like it, ( that's why we have car shows, to express ourselves through our cars and trucks )If you do something to your DAK, don't let anyone tell you to take it off or put something on your truck. after all, it is YOUR truck.
But that's just my opinion.
If you are going to install the lights, you might want to wire in A switch to turn them on and off instead of connecting them to the parking lights. If you get pulled over you will be able to turn them off without turning off your parking lights.

I have to agree with Bryan.. It's his truck.. If he likes it GOOD it's his truck. Personally I wouldn't put them on mine. Then again I have a 4x4 and now a lowered truck.

i have them on my truck 98 dak i ran them to a switch that way i could turn them off when cops were around lol everything is illegal in wisconsin

Hey, I have those LED's on my '02 Eclipse, and I have a toggle switch, but not a clue on how to wire them to it. I'm a girl, and obviously not an electrician. Anyone wanna tell me how to do it?...thanks;)

I have a lot of neons, and since I have a wire running from the battery I used that wire ran it to a switch and then I hooked up the nozzels to the switch.

hey guys thanks for all the info, i got them hooked up, i just ran them into the parking light fuse then hooked a toggle switch up to them, they look good specially on my silver dak!!

kristen...Wire from the battery to one terminal of the switch...wire from the other terminal on the switch to the positive wire for the lights. the ground wire on the lights has to be connected to a good ground (metal), drill a hole in the metal, use a wire brush to clean the metal off, screw into the hole and connect the ground wire to the screw...flip the switch, ur done...

On some cars/trucks these dont look good. But I have to say I have the blue one's on my black 01 sport dak, looks pretty good. I ran the pos wire direct to the parking light. I used a lighted power tester to find the switch wire.

Drill two holes in the hood ( or cowl ) of your truck.
They are not hard to install, wire the switch in on the positive wire going to any 12 volt source and the negitive to any good ground.

ok i have a 2003 mazda tribute and i just got a new pair of super street blue led washers and i have NO clue how to put them on or what to do i have a switch and i need detailed instruction how to put them on and i cant figure out how to put the wires through the switch please help!

the install would be difrent for every vehicle you put them on but the wireing is easy just find a wire with 12 volt sorce if you take it directly from the battery it will light up all the time if the switch is on if you take the 12 volt from a difrent sorce like the headlights that would mean that the leds would only be available when you have your headlights. however you chose to do it hook one side of the switch to the 12 v sorce and the other side to the led positive side the the negative side of the led to a 12v ground or to a good metal ground such as your frame.
12V----[Switch]-----LED+--[led]--LED- ----12ground
