I used a can of Black Duplicolor called Universal Black. I also removed the lense from the truck and painted the edge black.

Although I didnt mention it in the original post I was looking for one with an R/T in it instead of the rams head logo. Although I know its Dodge's Logo... I was actually trying to limit the number of Ram heads on my truck... seeing as its not exactly a ram. But thats my thoughts on the matter. Anybody know wheere I can get one with the R/T on the cover?

goto a model shop and get liquid mask put it on the cover use your computer os something to take an image of an R/T and use paint shop pro or something and just cut the R/T out scale it to size to fit you cover... Print it us the printed pic as a template and an exacto knife trace the letters and peel back everything but the R/T and spray with what Marks DQC used... it cant be that hard or take that long... i like the liquid mask ( i used it for painting My nitro rc cars) alot better then useing 3m

I just had mine powdercoated black to match the black trim on my sport. really cheap to do looks great.

Mine was billet aluminum I have a sport so the silver color kind of looked out of place. I didn't know you were looking for a plastic one. Mine was 29.00 from stylinconcepts.com ..

Does any one know if the guys are still making the ram head brake light cover. I tried both their e-mails, and they both came back undeliverable. I really really want one. Willing to pay almost anything.
