Message: does anyone know how to get, what seems to be water spots/streaks, off a polished wheel? Will putting some chrome polish on and buffing it off with a high speed buffer ruin it? thanks...

Message: Easy... polish 'em again - as shiny as you want them to be - then clear-coat 'em. You MIGHT use a high-quality carnuba wax, if you don't want to kick down the $$$ for clear-coat, but the results aren't near as long-lasting.

Message: I'm about sick of my polished wheels on my 4x4. A street car may not be so bad but I'll never buy polished wheels for a 4x4 again. At least not for a 4x4 that sees more off road than on road. I was thinking about polishing them up real shiney and having them Clear Powder Coated. It's only money and time.

Message: There is a wheel polish out there called EXTREME wheel polish. I have used it for years and have had nothing but spectacular results. It also repells liquid for a few weeks.
