Subject: Lowering my Dakota (HELP) IP: Logged
Message: Ok here is my ? I want to lower my truck I have been looking for 1" springs and can not find them eibach makes a 1.5 (Try ordering that it never comes through) I put my truck up for people to see and every one says LOWER it more Well I have 2"in the back but I need to level it out. PLEASE help me Tell me what 2 do.

Message: R/T coils will lower the front 1". There are several posts with people selling R/T susp & check ebay or dealer.

Message: there is no best coil. if you want a stiffer ride, hotchkis is the best for that.
if you want a stock ride, djm or western is the best for that.
i agree with going with the R/T spring if you only want a 1" drop.
why not a 3/5 or a 4/6 drop? if you are going to lower it...LOWER IT...lol

Message: I just want a better stance Ive already bought some 1" R/T springs and I think Im going to go w/ that I hope my truck will handel better (handles like crap now I think. I think I will also go w/ a sway bar on the back when I get the cash:( Thanks for all yor replies

Message: If your gonna drop your truck. then DROP IT. Get a kit that you think might be a little too low. You wont be upset. I made the mistake i got the 4/6 and i still say it looks like the height of a stock s10 who wants that crap. Lower the better
