You will have to replace the shocks. The factory ones will be crushed down unless you are using drop spindles which your not. My favorites were Bel tech nitro shocks but there are many reputable names. The shock you will use will be specific to how much you lowered your vehicle with the shortened coils. This dictates the shocks length.

My previous sport truck was lowered in the front 4". 2" from the Beltech coils and another 2" from the spindles.

The rear shocks will also have to be replaced because they will be compressed also. Make sure you specify how much you have lowered the rear also.

My Beltech truck handled and felt great. The ride was very hard and resposive yet didn't bounce the shi.. out of the vehicle when going over bumps. I die laughing at these morons with cutting torch lowereing jobs smaking there heads on the roof of their cars every time they hit a bump. That's not sporty at all, just plain stupid and desperate for attention. I saw and old beat up 80's Tercel today with tiny Dayton wires on it sticking out 4" and almost crashed I was laughing so hard. The car was worth literaly around $200. Idiot

The Hotchkis kit comes with Bilstein shocks (or at least mine did). You need a shock that is designed for the amount of drop you will be running. Too long or too short and it won't dampen properly.

Don't skimp; get the sway bars too. They're the most noticable improvement.
