Subject: Bed cover - to hinge or not to hinge IP: Logged
Message: I was originall thinking of getting the tonneau cover that has no snaps and just stretches over the cab(i.e. - http://www.accessconnect.com/extang.htm it's the saber)
and one that hinges by Saddleman. Who here (that has a bed cover) likes/dislikes what cover they have? I'm torn.

Message: I got the hinged saddleman, its build quaility is decent. It looks really good on the truck.. not too tall, it doesn't add to much hieght to the bed... The only thing the hold down straps suck, a high wind caught my tonneau and ripped it up breaking both tie down straps, and mangling some of the structual metal of the cover. I rebuilt the whole thing, and used a bungee cord to hold down the back. (you can see it (bungee cord) it loops around and holds it down. good cover for the money.

Message: I got my flush mount from www.Checkpro.com and I like it alot. It can be removed in about 30 sec. w/ the quick release hinges. I thought it was pretty cheap also, $380 for everything.
