Message: Because so many people keep asking, here's a place to get the billet fuel doors below retail cost.
Contact Brian DeVitt at igotasweetride@aol.com
He's selling them for $115 shipped to your door, and he's got them in stock - no waiting for cross-shipping/etc... They'll fit Dodge Dakotas or Dodge Rams.
Mfr. retail on these are $145 + shipping, and places such as www.autotoyaz.com have them listed at $210++.

Message: I thought it was you mills, but I wasn't 100% sure, where would I get it plated at? I think that's the only real thing holding me back, I don't like the look of chrome on a bright silver truck (no offense to the SLT owners) It doesn't stand out enough. but that black one would look awesome.
btw, thanks for the e-mails mills

You can have the doors powdercoated or anodized, most hot rod shops or plating companies would know where to have this service performed. The powdercoating product itself is extremely inexpensive, it's the minimum labor rates that eat up the cost. Figure anywhere from $25-50 at most to have your door altered. All sorts of colorings are available with powdercoating... blue, red, black, orange, etc...
It would probably cost anywhere from $30-100 to have a factory door powdercoated or dipped since you'd have to strip the factory paint off first. Even so, when you're done its going to look somewhat homemade... It's like the PVC K&N kits... They work, but you can spot the difference in quality a mile away. The billet fuel doors are made from solid aluminum plates and are very well constructed, this isn't some cheap POS you'd find in the plastic bargain bin at K-Mart. You definitely get what you pay for with this product.
PS - I think they look awesome as-is on a silver truck (I have one). Definitely stands out. There's a single photo on my website on the group buy page, and as soon as I find my USB cable I'll upload more photos of my own truck's new mods.
