 Subject: Clear Corners

I know there are two different types of clear corners just not sure on the brand/names of them. I want a set of the newer ones that are out. They are like REALLY clear. Anyone know the names? Thanks in advance.

Which ones do not require splicing wires or cutting the housing to fit with my 2001 Dak?

Mine didn't require any of that. You'll only need a torq 10 screwdriver. The only thing that I noticed, and I have talked to newer dak owners, and theirs are fine: is that on the 97, the small corner bulb housing has 4 tabs, the corresponding hole in the new clear has only two openings. The bulb housings are soft plastic, so I just clipped them off with a pair of nippers.

Thanks Lesley! I think I'll order up a pair, should look good on my silver metallic Dak. Wonder if I can buy the procarparts clears cheaper on ebay than $49.99 when buying direct from procarparts.com?

Hey has anyone had any problems with moister getting into the lenses? I have had to take off my left corner 3 times and dry it out but i keeps getting wet inside... and water pools in it aswell..
anyone have any ideas on how to stop this ?

Just put on the APC Diamond clears today and they look AWESOME! Got 'em off ebay for $53 TOTAL!! Very nice--now we just need the diamond headlights!

i had the same problem with water getting into my headlights (which were a pain in the ass to get off) but after i put the head light back on the problem never happened again, oh and i like the other clear corners better than the diamonds, only because i dont have them.

the clear corners can be taking in water because the light sockets are screwed on tight enough or maybe they are not on correctly. you may want to check it out.
