Does anybody know of a billet grille for our trucks that is just like the stock one, but with the horizontal pieces steel? All of the grilles I have seen have more bars than I want.
Here is a photoshopped pic of my dak with the bars touched up, this is kind of what I want. The SRT-10 look, not just a nose full of shiny metal.

Another option would be to buy the regular billet and paint every other bar black to get that effect. Hmm, now you got me wondering how that would look.

lesley you can paint them any color, looks sweet.

another option is to get some square tubing from home depot, they make some with a slotted side, then just affix them to your stock grill.

I've thought about getting the grille chromed, or buying one off ebay and getting it chromed, but it would probably be costly. Most of the ones I have seen are just too much metal.
That pic of the one off ebay looks pretty good MightyDak, wonder if they have it with regular frame or if that is an insert for the stock. I'll check that out, thanks guys!!

if all you you want is those you little peices chrome, go to any auto parts store and buy that chrome door edging strips. cut to fit and it slides right over the little stock grill peices. itll cost ya like 5 bucks. try it

The silver paint on those moldings starts to flake off and look ugly after awhile though and your grill will look like doo doo and theyll have to be replaced.
