Apparently this is becoming illegal in some
places. Cops argue they cant get into a vehicle to
apprehend a suspect.
Put your money into something else, leave the
shaving to the skirts.

Quickracing, Check with Autoloc or Spal, they both have shaved handle kits. This is only going to include the wiring, solenoids, and various other parts, but the metal filler plate will have to be custom made. There's nothing better lookin then a smooth shave on an already sweet truck. If you end up shaving them yourself, let us know how it goes. I dont' know if those places have the manual switch you want, but i would check with them for that too. Later.

Autoloc and Spal are the 2 best for wiring. You will have to make your own filler plates. The manual toggle buttons that come with the kit only work if you have power. So if your battery goes dead, your still screwed. You could run a wire into the wheelwell, so you could pull on it and open the door in emercencies.

Man do i hate to see you sell your girl. But you got to do what you have to do. Your truck has been an inspiration to me and what i do to my dak. I was just wondering, how low is smokindakota lowered? 3-5, 4-6? And what kind of bag kit did you use? Hey man let me know. Again i'm sorry to hear that your selling it. peace :)

I got my door popper kit off of ebay for like $116 i think... I didnt know that shavin ur handles was illegal in some states.

Dude shaving your handles is not for the average backyard builder im sorta new around here (so please no one take any offense) and mine are shaved do not attempt this yourself if you dont do body work or know someone who does. you'll need a welder and know how to weld otherwise you can burn through or even worse warp the door if that happens you got a lot of work to do. some sort of grinder is a hugh help to but again be careful not to heat the skin up to much cause you can warp it grinding also. when we did mine i made the filler plates myself and picked the poppers and noids up at my local shop... if theres anything else i can help with just email me @ yellowbgddakota@yahoo.com
