Message: I just got a 5inch moniter for my truck and I was trying to mount my ps2 in the console but it wont play disks with the controls mounted upward. and it won't fit in the glovebox either.
I already have two 12's and am not sure of a better way to mount it. do I have to build a new box and integrate it into it? I already have a large amp on the floor behind the drivers seat.
can subs be imiged downward? or should they be upward? my thinking is subs sound deeper and louder facing backwards in the trunk of a car. is this sort of the same thing?

Message: Well, you have to use a power inverter, so just leave the switch on the back "on" and put the power inverter where you can get to it to turn it off. At least that is what i did. My visor tv's come on and off automatically with the signal from the ps2, so that works out well too.

Message: For turning it off and on, couldnt you just leave the switch on the back of the PS2 on all the time and put a switch inline with the power cord and turn it off and on that way. Then you could just mount the inline switch where it could be easily reached.
