To anyone who has installed their own custom grill insert with Gutter Guard from Home Depot, I think looks fantastic, accept for one problem. I can only find it in plastic. I've checked all the hardware stores including Home Depot with no luck. Can anyone tell me where I could find it?

Thanks in advance

One Canadian posted that there is a place called Crappy Tire up there that has it. You got any of those?

If not, let me know. I will be more than happy to buy some and ship them to you. This applies to anyone that is wanting to do the custom grille but can't find the Gutter Guard. I'll only ask for you to cover the cost of shipping. Not looking to make a profit, just bein' helpful.

Let me know!

I've got plenty of the aluminized stainless steel Gutter Guard mesh if anyone wants to buy some of it off of me. Please? =) I don't own a home to install the rest. I'd sell each piece cheaper than what it's advertised for. I'll sell them for $1 each and charge you exact shipping cost. I primed and painted mine. Here's what the mesh looks like.

One more thing. Each piece is 5 inches tall and 3 feet long. You'd need 5 pieces total to do the upper and lower grille.

Thanks SpeedTuba for your offer. I managed to find Premium Gutter Guard at Canadian Tire. Thanks MightyDakSXT, you were right, they do come 5" x 3' - exactly what you need. Canadian Tire supplies both metal colour and black - I chose black because by 2002 Quad is Charcoal Gray with black nerf bars. I thought it would be a nice match.

Thanks again to all the Dakota freaks to the South.

PS: Only Canucks are allowed to call Canadian Tire Crappy Tire :)

Its ok Darrell...i think he was referring to me...I used the "Crappy Tire" reference in another post.

It's ok for me to use it...I'm from the Windsor, Ontario area..... :0)

I couldn't find it at our Crappy Tire, but Home Depot had it for $4.47 a sheet....

LOL!!!!

I'm just a stupid redneck from Georgia. I actually thought you guys had a place in Canada called "Crappy Tire"! I thought it sounded funny, but I figured it must be another one of those terms that I didn't understand!

No SpeedTuba, it's just a slang we use . With the risk of going off topic, the store does carry alot of your automotive needs. They also have sporting goods, housewares, tools, paint etc. you get the idea. I'd say it's about the same size as the Pennys store in the USA.
And after the 14" of freakin snow we just had yesterday, I'd live in Georgia or any other southeren state... This weather sucks.
